Entry Information Individual Entry Information (updated 8 Jul 2008) The 6th NRA World Action Pistol Championships will be held in conjunction with the Kiwi Cup Action Pistol Championships at Hamilton Pistol Club, Hamilton, New Zealand, on 5-8 November 2008. This is the second time Hamilton Pistol Club has hosted this prestigious event, which has also been hosted previously twice in Australia, and twice in the USA. All entries in the World Action Pistol event will automatically be entered in the Kiwi Cup event. Competitors entering both the Open and Metallic Sights divisions must nominate which gun they wish to compete for match awards with. Shooters competing in both Open and Metallic Sights divisions will only be eligible for prizes for the nominated handgun and the aggregate Ironman awards in both the World Action Pistol event and the Kiwi Cup event. All entries in the World Action Pistol event will receive one complimentary entry to the awards dinner held on the night of the 8th of November, where all the World Action Pistol events awards will be given. Shooters entering the Kiwi Cup event only can optionally purchase a ticket for the awards dinner, and all shooters can purchase extra tickets for family and friends as required. All paid entries received no later than the 31st of August 2008 will go in the draw to win bonus sponsor prizes during the event. No entries will be accepted for the World Action Pistol event unless received and fully paid not later than 5th October 2008. Paid entries will be accepted for the Kiwi Cup event up until 29th October 2008. Entries for the World Action Pistol event include complimentary match gift pack, awards dinner ticket and Kiwi Cup event entry. Kiwi Cup entries do not include any gift souvenir items (but these may be available for purchase). Individual entries must be on the official entry form (linked below), and only paid entries will be accepted. * Any individual entering the Kiwi Cup or World Action Pistol events will have their entry fee refunded should they subsequently be selected to represent their country and have their entry fee paid as part of that entry. ** Shooters entered in the World Action Pistol event will compete in the Kiwi Cup automatically as a "paper match" in either or both handgun divisions for which they have entered. Their World Action Pistol event scores will also be recorded as their Kiwi Cup scores. Match entry form (PDF format) Team Entry Information (updated 16 Jul 2008) National teams for the World Action Pistol Championships 2008 must be selected and approved by their national associations, and the team entry forms are available on request to national associations. Teams can be selected for Open (3 members per team), Open Ladies (2 members per team), Open Junior (2 members) and Metallic Sights (2 members). The maximum number of teams in each category is 3 per country. There are no fees for team entries, but all members of teams must be fully paid entrants in the World Action Pistol Championships 2008.
