Match Information The NRA World Action Pistol Championships 2008 will consist of an aggregate match of the four traditional events: Falling Plate Event Barricade Event Practical Event Moving Target Event (Modified) The Barricade, Practical and Moving Target (Modified) events will be shot on the NRA AP-1 target. There will be National Team awards for Open, Open Ladies, Open Junior and Metallic Sights. In addition, there will Individual awards for Open, Open Ladies, Open Junior, Open Senior, Metallic Sights, Metallic Sights Ladies, Metallic Sights Junior, Metallic Sights Senior, and combined "Ironman" awards for those shooters competing in both Open and Metallic Sights. Graded awards will only be given in the Kiwi Cup event being run in conjunction with the World Action Pistol Championships. Accommodation Hamilton Pistol Club is located directly across the road from Hamilton International Airport, and the recommended match accommodation, Hamilton Airport Motor Inn, is located just inside the airport entrance. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the pistol club. A variety of rooms have been pre-booked for National Teams and administration staff, but there are still a large number of executive and standard studio units available which comfortably sleep up to 3 adults.
